Diversified Benefits Services is looking for an experienced senior-level leader to lead and continue developing our Sales team by establishing aggressive yet obtainable sales goals and developing strategies to achieve those goals. We are looking for someone who can also contribute to organizational strategic planning, budgeting, identifying target markets, developing effective sales strategies to generate new sales and to expand market share while retaining current clients, and ensuring alliance with the objectives and growth strategies of the Company.

How you will contribute:
  • Provide ethical leadership that supports the Company Mission, Vision and Values, and base decisions on what is in the best interest of the Company.
  • Collaborate with the Company President and Leadership Team to determine key long-term company initiatives as well as develop metrics that evaluate results and measure success.
  • Develop and implement new sales initiatives, strategies and programs to gain market share and retain current clients.
  • Establish goals for high-performing sales team, setting individual and team performance metrics.
  • Project and forecast annual and quarterly revenue utilizing the CRM system.
  • Achieve growth and annual sales targets by effectively training and managing the sales team.
  • Develop, track, analyze, and communicate key metrics and business trends as they relate to customers. (Customers include clients, prospects, agents and agencies.) 
  • Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with DBS Management team in lead generation, internal business operations and organizational objectives. This includes resolving escalated customer issues and customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Identify key agency partnerships and foster relationships with leadership within those agencies.
  • Make enhancements to Sales Playbook, including creating additional tools to support key agent management system and agency partnership initiatives.
What you bring to the table:
  • Minimum five years of experience managing and directing a sales team. This includes selecting, developing and motivating qualified sales representatives. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership & management ability.
  • Experience utilizing sales tracking and analytical tools such as CRM.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and train and develop sales team members.
  • Experience working through agent/broker networks and in the TPA industry is preferred.
